Calling All Mid-Career Clay & Glass Artists!

We’re excited to be shining the spotlight on mid-career artists in the upcoming Fall 2025 issue of FUSION Magazine.

​

FUSION invites submissions for FUSION's magazine column that will feature one clay artist and one glass artist in each issue of the magazine.​​

 

Mid-career clay and glass artists bring a confident voice to their work. With 8+ years of dedication behind them, their practices are deepening, their stories are evolving, and their presence in exhibitions and shows continues to grow. These are the voices we want to celebrate in our Mid-Career Artist Spotlight.

 

FUSION considers mid-career artists to be those with at least eight years of professional practice that might include:

 

• Exhibitions and shows

• Residencies

• Awards or grants

• Teaching experience

• A mature, distinctive body of work

 

If this sounds like you, please apply to be considered for the Fall 2025 issue. A jury will review your submission and successful recipients will work with the editor to create their spotlight feature.

Submissions must include an artist statement and/or biography that is no more than 500-750 words in length, along with five professional quality images of recent work (within 12 months). The images should be of professional quality. The Spotlight Magazine Featured Artist Panel will select featured artists and you will be contacted if you have been selected.
